URL path is saying /?login=failed

This sounds like a Theme or Plugin conflict.
Try to do a Theme/Plugin conflict test if your Theme
or another Plugin is causing a conflict with UM.

Can you try with the free version of the plugin if it’s possible to reproduce?

Yes, I can reproduce your issue after activating the free plugin
without doing any of the plugin settings.

I will look at your issue later today.

You can try these settings in the “WP Discussion Board”

General -> “Log-in form page” = UM Login page
General -> “Hide WP Login?” = empty, no click
