Also, can I remove the following Stripe description?
Donate quickly and securely with Stripe
How it works: A Stripe window will open after you click the Donate Now button where you can securely make your donation. You will then be brought back to this page to view your receipt.
How can I set it so when people select an amount and click ‘donate’ from my homepage, it automatically opens on my donations page, rather than completing the donation on the homepage?
The classic form + Stripe Checkout works in a way that it will darken the form and then display the modal where the user can fill in their details. I’ll create an enhancement request for it to make sure we scroll the page up when the modal shows up. Meanwhile, a good workaround is to change the Stripe Checkout option from modal to redirect, and it will redirect your donors to a Stripe-hosted page, and they will fill in their personal details over there.
Personally, I prefer to process donations directly on my website. If I were you, I would disable Stripe checkout and activate Stripe Credit Card instead. But it’s a personal choice only:
About removing the description, we cannot do that by default. However, you can change the wording and instead of text, you can add spaces and it will remove the description content.
Changing text on your website can be a challenge. That’s why we created this tutorial that explains how to do it here https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/translating-give/translating-givewp-with-loco-translate/#modify-the-wording-using-loco-translate.
Lastly, about redirecting, not sure if you want to redirect the donor to the form page or if you want to open it on the same page using a modal. Can you clarify?
Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!
