New Blog Defaults issues…
-
I did find a thread on this subject, however someone decided to close it despite it not being marked as resolved (:-/)
Anyway, like a lot of people I’m noticing that after activating & configuring the New Blog Defaults plugin it still says on the “wp-signup.php” page that users can create an unlimited number of sites. After creating a site via a user account I know that after the first site is created, the message “Registrations have been disabled” appears on the page in place of the site creation form.
It seems those reporting the “no limit is imposed” issue haven’t tried to create a site then revisit the page, and understandably assume that the original message is correct. It’s not, it’s misleading, is there a way to change/customise the details on the page displayed when using this plugin, or better yet, would it be possible to completely replace the “wp-signup.php” page for this specific function (site creation) with one that can be customised depending on how many sites users are actually allowed to create??
Thanks in advance,
LJ
