locations.kml empty

    Hi there.

    I received a notification from Ahrefs indicating that my /locations.kml file was returning a 404 error. After reading through your help desk article, I realized that coordinates were missing. Therefore, I went ahead and added them in the plugin Settings. Now, the /locations.kml is no longer showing a 404 error, but it appears to be blank.

    On the other hand, I noticed that the /rank_math_locations-sitemap.xml is working fine and contains 3 items. Does it mean that my locations sitemap is working fine or I perhaps I misunderstood something?

    PS. If there’s any additional information needed, please feel free to ask, and I’ll gladly provide it.

    Please make sure to fill all necessary details in Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO.

    Then, follow the steps below:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    3. Apply the following filter code to your site.

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');
