SMTP problems

    I am unable to connect the WP Mail SMTP so I can receive emails via my contact form. I get this message and I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do. I’ve checked the scopes (altho I’m uncertain what these are) and there doesn’t seem to be anything restricting this.
    Would appreciate any help figuring this out, please.

    The app is requesting access to sensitive info in your Google Account. Until the developer (mhess5599@gmail.com) verifies this app with Google, you shouldn’t use it.

    If you’re the developer, submit a verification request to remove this screen. Learn more

    Hi @marcihess,

    Thanks for reaching out! First of all, please Edit your original post and remove your personal email address.

    When you see the notice “Google hasn’t verified your app”, you can click on “Advanced“: and proceed. For more details, please refer to the “Granting Permissions and Sending Test Email” section in our documentation.

    In case it helps, please try following the Gmail mailer setup video guide and you should be able to configure it on your site.

    I see no option for editing my original message. 🙁

    That video was EXACTLY what I needed. I do not know why it didn’t pop up when I was searching for answers.
