Comments on images

    I am unable to get comments on images in a gallery (or anywhere else) available, and wonder if it’s due to this being the active theme. I am using the TSO Hosted WordPress service, but before doing so I had been trying out WordPress for free using Creatio 2 and the comments speech bubble appears on expanded images there (see Picture Gallery – Southrepps History Hub Mock-up (wordpress.com) . I have tried all the settings I can find with no success so wonder if this is a known issue, or if anyone can point me in the right direction

    Hi there,

    This option to have comments on the image preview is not native for WordPress. I believe this is added by the Jetpack plugin. Do you know if you have this installed? I know this plugin is installed by default on WordPress.com, so this might be the reason that you don’t see this option now and had this by default before.

    Many thanks Felipe. Installing Jetpack has solved this problem for me.
