Just got hacked – restore or replace database?? HELP

    I just got hacked (my site). Would it be better to restore a past database backup or create a new one (that overrides the old one)? I am guessing it would be good to restore an old database. But that would not fix the whole problem, would it?

    I got hacked by the Turkish hacker but I had an easy fix. They got to six files. My host GoDaddy walked me through the cleanup, which was really easy. The only php file that was touched was index.php, if I remember correctly. Everything is restored now. Took just a few minutes.
