Does deactivating plugins mess up your settings and codes?

    Hello, I am troubleshooting my site and need to know if deactivating and then reactivating plug-ins will mess up the settings I configured and the html codes within the pagesthey are inserted? Any responses would be greatly appreciated. -Alex

    It shouldn’t break anything permanently. If anything breaks by deactivating a plugin, it will be fixed when you reactivate it.
