wp e-commerce shopping cart – auto refresh

Hi

I’ve nearly finished putting my shop together using wp e-commerce but have one annoying thing I can’t resolve…

I have my shopping cart in my sidebar widget set to hide while empty. When I add something to the cart it shows up but only if I’ve either refreshed the page or navigated to another page (after that it’s fine).

This has the effect that products don’t look they’ve been added to a cart and could end up with customers clicking a number of times before they get fed up, navigate away and then find out that their cart is full of multiple orders.

Does anyone know how to get the shopping cart to auto-load the first time a product is added to it?
