Mirror test blog??

Hi folks!

I need some help, how can i test new templates and banners on my current blog?? Some kind of mirror or a invisible blog just for admin test.

I have some ideas, copy all files in other folder, install another WP and point for the old DB… idk

can someone helpme please!!
