Need help with a Simple setup

    Hi there,

    I’ve bought the All Access – 5 sites version but I’m a bit overwhelmed and am thinking about availing of the 30 days money back.

    Here’s my problem:

    I have some content sites for which I’d like to upload a bunch of banners for:

    1. Swiss audience
    2. German audience
    3. Austrian audience

    So visitors from Switzerland get one set of ads displayed. Visitors from Germany another one. And visitors from Austria another.

    I don’t really want to manually create those ad places if it can be avoided at all. I thought I could just upload banners in different sizes, maybe define how often I want them to be shown or clicked, set the country and maybe even a time as to when which ones are displayed and the plugin just shows them wherever it sees fit (similar to how the AdSense plugin works nowadays).

    Like basically a very simple solution. ChatGPT recommended Advanced ads for me. But I’m totally overwhelmed with the plugin and don’t know if this can be achieved and how it can be achieved. Feels a bit like one would need a 2 day course to be able to use the plugin.

    Can anybody help please?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I can understand that creating your first ad might be an overwhelming task in the beginning. 

    Basically, the principle of embedding ads with Advanced Ads is straightforward to learn:

    • you create an ad unit
    • you optionally group multiple ad units in ad groups (good for rotating ads with refresh-intervals etc.)
    • you assign your ads or ad groups to specific Placements – this will show the ads on specific locations on your website
    • you can set various options like display conditions or visitor conditions to filter your ads based on various parameters

    Once you have set up your Placements efficiently, Advanced Ads gives you powerful functions to deliver ads very flexible in your website’s framework. You can, of course, also embed ad units individually with a shortcode anywhere on your site.
