Problems with Voice Input with cell phone

    Hello,
    your AI engine is a great thing.

    However, there are problems with my cell phone (Samsung Galaxy S20 FE). In Firefox, it is not possible to enter a longer text in the chat window with the Google keyboard using voice input. After approx. 2 lines, the voice input stops writing or makes words disappear. Manual input is possible.

    The visual display is also not the same as on the desktop. There is a lack of contrast.

    For further development, I would like to have an order entry system that is as complete as possible. The direct insertion of articles into the shopping cart by voice and a login or registration in the store.

    I’ve tested your website directly on iOS and Android devices and couldn’t replicate your issue. Using the voice command from the Google keyboard shouldn’t have a different impact than manual input. If you’re encountering this problem on a specific device and browser, it’s likely user-related.

    Regarding the “lack of contrast,” I’m not sure what you’re referring to. There should be no visual difference (except for the dynamic layout and where the chatbot is on the screen as it’s smaller on mobile) when using the chatbot on mobile, unless you’ve applied custom CSS. Could you provide more details? Thanks.

    Please be aware that AI Engine acts as a gateway to communicate with various API services like OpenAI to let models generate text directly on your website. The chatbot itself cannot interact with external elements, and it is not connected to the internet either. Its sole purpose is to generate text. If you have advanced technical knowledge, you can leverage this to run code and trigger different events based on its text output (you can refer to the documentation for more information).

    Hello Val,

    I have created a screen video which illustrates the problem. The voice input stops at some point in the middle of a sentence. The next attempt to write the word by voice input even removes the last word. Even tapping on word suggestions on the keyboard does not lead to success.

    The problem only occurs in this chat window. It is almost 100% reproducible with longer sentences. I have never experienced this behavior anywhere else.
