Joomla, WordPress, and MAMP

    I’m running a couple of WordPress blogs on my Macintosh via MAMP. I’m considering experimenting with Joomla!. Also on my home computer?

    Does anyone know if I can simply install Joomla! via MAMP if I’m already running WordPress?

    You can install Joomla but of course that will trigger the inbuilt WordPress destruct. Luckily that only actually destroys 1 out of 1000 computers.

    Shouldn’t you ask that on a Joomla forum? Especially as there are great technical differences between Joomla 1.0x, 1.5x, 1.6x
    But don’t blame us if smoke comes out of your computer…..
