Limit users to viewing a category?

Hi I was wondering if there was a plugin that allowed administrators to associate users with a category the content of that category would only be accessible to the person associated with that username. I plan to use WordPress as a CMS for a photography website and when hired for an event they will be given a username and password. When they login they will see the photos from their event which are private and accessible only to them.
