WordPress allows private post and password protected posts. However, the attachments are still accessible. How can I make those attachments private, too! I only want registered users to access those files.

How are they viewing those files? Are you talking about a direct link, or about an attachment page?

Yes, direct link. Some attachments are pdf files.

currently, registered users can view/access the attachments. this is handled via template. However, I realized that users can still access them even if they are not logged in by using the direct link.
