• Hello

I’m using wordpress as CMS. I am using posts on a page for updatable section like news. I don’t have any single post or category pages. I just have single.php with same content as 404.php.

There is an option called Priority. Should I set it to 0, Never visit for single post/category/archives pages that I’m not using?

    Thank you

  • Each Post you have even though its for a News page is in fact still a single post. Personally I would want those indexed and available as single posts. did you remove the Post title link? Otherwise from what you said, that link will go to a 404 error page which will look very bad.

It’s used just like this. It just has the the_content(); and no title link. I didn’t want to have another page with just this short news sentences. Isn’t there a way to ignore and not have single post page?

Having problems loading your website. Something ain’t quite right.

This is the link to the snapshot of the way I’m using posts, http://migaanimeblog.com/mine/

I thought if I disable the priority to crawling the posts, it would help reduce it from crawling 404 pages.

    Thanks for your time
