Moving WordPress From Yahoo to Bluehost…

    I am transferring my domain to bluehost, should be completed shortly, and I am also trying to figure out how I can have my site moved there with no interruptions. I know how to point to bluehosts nameservers, but I am unsure as how to copy my site, its databases, etc and have it moved to bluehost.

    My site is http://www.FiveCollegeMovers.com if that helps at all. Thanks in advance.

    See Moving WordPress. Essentially, backup your WordPress files (use an FTP program to copy from Yahoo server to your local machine), and backup your database (if necessary install the WP-DB-Backup plugin).

    Then restore your database to BlueHost database using phpMyAdmin and upload the files via FTP to your Bluehost web-root folder (probably your public_html folder0, fix the wp-config.php to point to the new database (leave the $table_prefix the same).
