Padding issues in Sidebar

I’m currently building this page for someone (http://www.rjthompsonmusic.com/about/stuie-ellerton)and I’m having an issue with the sidebar.

Basically, because the main content of the page isn’t as tall as the sidebar, the sidebar is reaching all the way to the bottom of the page (with no gap). I want to have a 10px or 20px gap below the sidebar but everywhere I’ve tried to add it doesn’t seem to work.

I’ve tried adding style=”padding-bottom: 10px;” to the div in the theme editor, and I’ve also tried adding 10px of padding to the stylesheet file for the “primary” widget area, and no luck.

Any ideas?
