Hi
I had too many bogus sign up’s with this program, mainly yahoo and gmail with email addresses but spam name fields. Currently the decision is to remove this plug in because the products in the shopping cart dont come up in the pages where commissions could be assigned to affiliates.
I did send another tech through on this and that seems to have gone missing so for now it’s on hold in terms of affiliates and a program they could use.

In order to prevent the spam, you can use external captcha plugin, for example WC Captcha.
Regarding your problem with the commissions, we are not sure if we are understanding what are you trying to achieve, our plugin doesn’t have a page to assign commissions, the commissions are generated and assigned when creating an order.

I see, well the plug in was deleted due to some checks and following it seems that the delete did not remove anything from the database tables e.g after the delete scans are picking up all range of yith files and in fact the user names including my own as admin, still have an affiliate process associated with it,
Is that normal or does this plug in not delete when removed correctly. Also all the sign ups which were not authorized following checks have not been deleted either.

When removing the plugin the information that was stored in the database is not deleted, which includes all your affiliates informations ( commissions, rates, etc. ) and options in the plugin that you have set. You want to remove them you can search for all the tables with the prefix “yith_wacf” and remove them to fully delete all the information.

Thanks for that info, just one last question, I don’t want to delete the admin user account which is listed in the yith database tables, will this matter or is there a way I can prevent the sign up account from being damaged by the removal of the other tables.

Deleting the aforementioned tables will not affect your created users, so you can not worry about it.
