    Hey there,

Using this plugins for something like 5/6 years now so Im pretty used to it.
Have u changed something on the import base code recently ? Now the special character (french accent like : é, à, ç etc…) are not imported well, Im trying to know from where the encodage issue come from.
Imported “G駻ant” instead of “Gérant” for example.

2 possibilities, this plugin, or microsoft excel that changed the encodage of a CSV file…

Pretty sure it come from nowhere from microsoft but I prefer to be sure asking here first.

Keep it up and thanks for maintaining this plugins even after such a long time !

it is true that we have changed much of the way the plugin works internally to be able to support the upcoming stepwise import that we are preparing to be able to import huge files without having to chop them up.

In fact the plugin already does it this way in the cron import.

But NOTHING that has been done has affected that… it’s very odd.

Have you tried using Libre Office better? I don’t have Excel on Linux but I know of problems with charset using Excel.

    Hey Javier,

Thanks for your answer, I was already pretty sure it was an Excel issue. They always update in the background, and we never know if if they change something lol.

I dont use your cron feature, I import manually my new users every week, but I assume it doesnt change anything.

I will try with Libre Office, pretty sure it handle charset encode way more efficiently

    Have a good day !
