  • Hi @fleastand

The error message “Web Payments SDK can only be embedded on sites that use HTTPS,” suggests that the website is not using a secure HTTPS connection. The Square Web Payments SDK requires a secure HTTPS connection to function properly. If your website is not currently using HTTPS, I would recommend enabling it as a first step.

If your site already uses HTTPS, the issue might be related to a conflict with another plugin or a theme. I understand that you’ve already deactivated all plugins. How about switching to a default WordPress theme, and then reactivating the WooCommerce Square plugin to see if the issue persists? If not yet, please try that, then let us know if it helps.

Also, please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report so that we can better understand your site’s current environment. You can find this by navigating to WooCommerce β†’ Status β†’ select Get system report and then Download for support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR to share with us.

    I hope it helps!

The website doesn’t have an SSL certificate because it is still under development. I was having issues with another plugin, and deactivating the Square plugin fixes the issue.

    Hi @fleastand

I understand that the Square plugin is causing conflict on your other plugin and deactivating resolved your issue here.

Should you wish to consider using the Square plugin in the future, please check our support documentation here for your reference:

Meanwhile, I will be marking this thread as resolved. Should you have further inquiries, kindly create a new topic here.

    Thanks!

    Hi there @fleastand πŸ‘‹

Thank you for reaching back, clarifying things further.

What I am trying to say is that it didn’t interfeer with the other plugin. It has to be a recent update by Square

Kindly note, the latest version available is version 4.3.1, released 4 weeks ago, at the time of writing this.

    Just to clarify:

    • What version of the WooCommerce Square plugin is installed at your site?
    • Did you already have a chance to test with only the WooCommerce and WooCommerce Square plugins active, and see if the issue persists, otherwise?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    WooCommerce Square 4.3.1

The developer of the plugin I was having issues with was the one who did the troubleshooting and determined it to be the Square plugin.

    Hello @fleastand,

This is the other plugin: Different date time for different Pickup and Delivery location PRO by https://www.piwebsolution.com/

Just to confirm, the Square plugins work as expected when this plugin is expected, correct?

As much as we want to help, please note plugin conflicts are not something we can assist with per our support policy.

If disabling the other plugin is not something you can afford, I suggest hiring a WooExpert to help solve the conflict with a custom solution. :β€Ž)

Let us know if there’s anything else we can assist with.

It’s not working as expected. If the plugin is causing other plugins to not work after this plugin was updated and the other wasn’t. They both worked fine together and the Square is th eone that updated and broke things since then.
