    Que me esta faltad

    Hello,

Since installations with the “.DAF” format have failed several times, I want to unzip and install everything manually.

I am following these steps but I have many problems when finishing copying and importing everything, this is what I do:

    Steps:
1- I run “DupArchiveExtract.exe” (for win/32/64) and extract all the “mibackup.daf” files to my PC.
2 I compress those archives as ZIP (el.: “mibackup.zip”)
3- I upload that .ZIP file to the hosting via FTP and decompress it there.
4- I create a DB on the hosting with phpmyadmin.
5- I look for the DB in /dup-installer/”sup-database-xxxxx.sql” and import it with phpmyadmin.
6- I look for the file /dup-installer/”original_file_xxxxxx souce_site_wpconfig”, copy it to the installation directory and rename it as “wp-config.php”
7- Change the DB credentials in “wp-config.php”
8- With phpmyadmin I edit the “options” table and the siteurl and home fields (where the domain and its path are)
    9- Ready.

It doesn’t work well at all, plugin and data problems in the DB.

The only thing that works well is to go to the wordpress backend.

What am I missing in my previous steps?
Can you explain to me the correct way to extract all the files and import them correctly?

    Thank you.

    Hi @boomerangz,

    Did you try the following?
1- I run “DupArchiveExtract.exe” (for win/32/64) and extract all the “mibackup.daf” files to my PC.
2 I compress those archives as ZIP (el.: “mibackup.zip”)
3- I upload that .ZIP file to the hosting via FTP and decompress it there.
    4- Run the installer.php

I’m looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    Thanks for your answer.

Yes I have tried with installer.php, but I want to avoid it (in this case) to be able to install the DB through the console. I told you in another post that it takes me between 2 and 4 hours to load data in the restoration with installer.php.

That’s why I want to know in these specific cases, what else I should take into account to manually restore everything.

    Regards.
