Need php page plugin
-
I need plugin that allow me to use php on pages..
-
There are plenty to choose from:
I tested 3 page already…
there is no good oneWell, that depends on how you define “good” and which 3 you tested.
This plugin “executes PHP code in posts, pages and text widgets,” has a 4.5 star rating after 104 votes and works with WordPress 3.0.1 for 15 out of 21 people. I’d call that “good.”
Well, this is the first one i tried to use..
but i get some error:Exec-PHP WYSIWYG Conversion Warning. Saving this article will render all contained PHP code permanently unuseful. Even if you are saving this article through the Code editor. You can turn off this warning in your user profile. Ignore this warning in case this article does not contain PHP code. Read the Exec-PHP documentation if you are unsure what to do next.
and i dont know what to do next :'(
Did you “read the Exec-PHP documentation if you are unsure what to do next?”
This seems to be the most appropriate section:
I dont have very good english…

I will try to explain you what i want to do:1. I created page
2. I run the plugin
3. I wrote in this page:<?php echo $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']; ?>4. and Here is the output..: http://guides4all.info/?page_id=390
5. I got this error:Exec-PHP WYSIWYG Conversion Warning. Saving this article will render all contained PHP code permanently unuseful. Even if you are saving this article through the Code editor. You can turn off this warning in your user profile. Ignore this warning in case this article does not contain PHP code. Read the Exec-PHP documentation if you are unsure what to do next.
6. What I need to make this PHP code work?
Go to Users/Your Profile in the admin panel and select “Disable the visual editor when writing” then try writing your page again.
YaY Thanks you very very very very very very very very Much!
You’re welcome!
Hi James,
I know the option which you have suggested, but I want to have some permanent solution for this, so can you help me with that.
Because the solution you suggested is means if I forget to disable visual editor from user profile then I will lose my php code and it also doesnt help if I want to write php code and also want to do styling using visual editor.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Arpita
