    Post tags are basically the same as categories, they’re just another form of organization but often considered a bit more specific and less significant than categories. In fact, it helps if you think of categories as featured tags.

    For example, if you write a post about the iPhone, you may file it under the Mobile Phone category and use iPhone and Apple as tags.

    Categories and tags are treated no different by search engines than the words in your post.
