  • Hi @jerry0000,

From what I understand, you want to uninstall the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin that has been deactivated for some time now. You’re wondering if you should simply uninstall it from the WordPress dashboard and if there are any other steps that need to be taken before or after the uninstallation.

Yes, you can start by uninstalling the plugin from your WordPress dashboard. However, it’s important to note that just uninstalling the plugin from your WordPress dashboard will not remove the app from Facebook and any associated system users.

Here are the steps to completely remove the plugin:

    1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Go to “Plugins > Installed Plugins“.
    3. Find “Facebook for WooCommerce” and click “Deactivate” (if it’s not already deactivated).
    4. After deactivation, the “Delete” option will appear. Click “Delete” to uninstall the plugin.

Now, to remove the app from Facebook and any associated system users:

    1. Log into your Facebook account and navigate to the Business Integrations section: 👉 https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings
    2. Under the Active tab, click WooCommerce Extension V2 or WooCommerce Integration
    3. Then, scroll down and click on Remove to remove the app

📌 Just a quick reminder: Before you make any changes, we strongly recommend that you create a backup of your full site and database. This is a crucial step to ensure that in case anything goes wrong, you can easily restore your site to its previous, functioning state.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to get back in touch.
