I am working on a WooCommerce site where I currently have the PayPal buttons (PayPal, Debit, SEPA) in the Express Checkout area at the top of the checkout page. However, my goal is to have these buttons both at the top and bottom of the page to improve usability for mobile device users. Currently, the buttons can only be placed either at the top or bottom, which is not ideal as many customers on mobile devices do not prefer to scroll.

Is there a way to integrate two sets of PayPal buttons on the checkout page, one in the Express Checkout area at the top and another set at the bottom of the page? Any support or guidance on this would be very helpful.

    Hello @roccsont

Currently, as you can read here, not all features are yet available on block checkout. Some are still under developement.

This limitation includes the integration of the legacy Checkout buttons (smart buttons) together with Block Express Checkout in a block configuration. Therefore, at present, it is not possible to have two sets of PayPal buttons, one at the top and another at the bottom of the checkout page.

However, I would like to inform you that in the incoming update, there will be a feature allowing a redirection from the ‘Place Order’ button directly to the PayPal gateway. This enhancement will be applicable for both regular and block checkout pages. To facilitate this, we will introduce a dedicated filter, the details of which will be shared in our documentation once the update is released.

    I hope that informations help!

    Kind regards,
    Krystian

    Hey Krystian,
we also desperately wish to place express checkout buttons in the top and bottom of the checkout page. WooCommerce is by far behind other Shop systems in term of its checkout design and features.

We are currently developing a plugin to improve this for all of our woocommerce stores. The last puzzle piece is this. If the buttons would not be protected by iframe, we could just duplicate them or place “dummy buttons” on one of the position and then trigger a jQuery “click” on the correct one.

When will your next update come and allow us to finish our improvement plugin?

Express buttons at the top of the Checkout page are only supported for the new Checkout block, but not for the legacy shortcode Checkout.

But since we haven’t heard back from you in a while, I’ll mark this thread as resolved.
