PHP8 support

    hi there, since switching to php8 the plugin screwed up, i cannot edit roles anymore, the layout is destroyed on the top settings and whenever i save something it does not keep the checked boxes, are you sure this works with php8 and up?

    Our plugin is compatible with PHP 8.1. I’ve tested it, and it works fine in our environment.

    Could you please try deleting and re-installing the plugin, as it appears that your website is having difficulty accessing our plugin file?

    hey riza, sorry but you are a bit quick in closing tickets here.
    i reinstalled the plugin with the latest version and the error still persists.
    it didn’t before i updated the plugin, just to let you know.

    Please ensure that you delete the folder from wp-content/plugins when uninstalling the plugin.

    Our plugin is compatible with PHP 8.1, as verified through my testing and plugintests: https://plugintests.com/plugins/wporg/capability-manager-enhanced/latest

    just deleted the folder and still get this error after reinstall. site runs on php 8.2 (why didn’t you check the latest version which is out now for many months?) – looks like i have to switch to a different plugin now.

    @telemarker I have recently tested the latest versions of our plugins with PHP 8.2, and they functioned without any issues. I also attempted to replicate the error using the same language as yours, but I couldn’t observe the reported error.

    Unless you can provide details on how we can replicate this on a new site, our ability to address the issue is limited.
