8 days ago I stopped receiving MailGun webhook posts which has been working for years, the only change that I can see was WordFence plugin updated the day it stopped working. Nothing is showing in Live Traffic logs since, when I test my webhook receiver from Mailgun it sends a 200 response but all the $_POST data has been removed.

Is there maybe a new firewall rule I need to disable?

Hi @asout74, thanks for reaching out.

If there’s no Live Traffic blocks at all around the time MailGun is trying to send, it sounds unlikely that Wordfence is intervening as firewall rules are still given as a reason for any blocks there. I would double-check activity from MailGun with Wordfence disabled in case you need to look at your server logs, or potentially restart any plugins/services that might have stopped working properly.

If that starts working, but once again fails when Wordfence is reenabled, it’s worth trying again with Learning Mode enabled. Admittedly, I would expect Learning Mode to be effective for certain items that DO currently show in Live Traffic rather than ones that don’t, but it might help if something is being missed.

Let us know what you find out,
    Peter.
