    To Add a Widget in WordPress:

    Go to Appearance, then Widgets.
    Select the widget you want to add to the sidebar.
    Drag the widget to the side bar and drop it in the box.

    f you don’t see the widgets area in your WordPress admin dashboard’s “Appearance” section, then it is most likely because your theme doesn’t support widgets. In that case, you need to switch to a widget-ready WordPress theme.
