Hi y’all, I’m new to WordPress and I’ve been trying to put together a website for a project for a class, but I’ve been having some difficulty.

I got my website looking how I want it to in the editor and when previewing it, but when it’s actually published and I’m viewing it on a device/in a browser that I’m not logged into WordPress on, it’s showing additional things that I did not add.

  • Hi @rosam827,

I have checked your website, and here is how I see it as a non-logged-in user.

As you can see in the header and footer sections, there are multiple menus that need to be modified. You can visit this link for more detailed information.

Also, make sure to set the header and footer sections separately in your theme’s settings and customize each section as you want.

Another important thing to mention here is to always keep your WordPress website, plugins, and themes up to date. If you have any other issues after all, you can check other methods, e.g., clearing the cash, disabling and reactivating the themes/plugins one by one, and checking.

Doing these steps should resolve the issue you have. If you have any further questions, please let me know. You can also contact the Theme support team for more customized and further technical guidance as well.

I ended up just switching the theme and that solved the problem with a lot less headache. Thank you for your help!
