[Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] help for a complete absolute newbie

i really really am liking the looks of this plug-in

and the theme i am using is
Eco Blog 1.5

for reference purpose, i havent added any content as yet,

i have installed the plugin folder in the wordpress directory and have enabled it in the wordpress plug in control panel, am absolutely clueless about what code to add and where so that the plugin would appear on my homepage (or any other page for that matter) just below the header, preferably where the body for the posts begins..

i tried adding the given shortcode at different locations but noting worked really..
