I’m following because I am having the same issue and came here to ask.
I had this issue at the start of the week following a problem with disk space which Just Host rectified, and then Jetpack Boost was able to regenerate critical CCS. It worked for a couple of days, and then, after I had been into an old album of images to add captions to about 30 photos it has started to give the “Failed to generate Critial CSS” message again. As a result of this my website is not displaying properly.
Update to above- after not displaying properly for over 24 hours my site came back up normally and I was then able to go into Jetpack boost & generate Critical CSS.
Hi
I’m currently in the process of creating a new blog and when I critically optimized the CSS my site was completely destroyed… pls check https://elegancio.de/blog
No matter which theme I activate/deactivate, somehow all of them are displayed incorrectly. In jetpack I get the following error message: Apparently this page does not contain any relevant CSS in its external style sheet(s): https://elegancio.de/blog/?donotcachepage=2ddc4ca5c2b268c1b1d119535e98c6fc
so what can I do? Thanks
UPDATE:
I think I’ve found the error for now… I had activated all the options below “critical CSS” and that caused the problems. I can’t say why yet… I’m just surprised that the page continues to load for such a long time even though it’s already up… this page also has to do with affiliate links (amazon) could it possibly have something to do with that???
Hi @niquolerenee13
It looks like you’ve disabled critical CSS and other Boost features. I’m not currently seeing any connection errors/issues that would prevent the feature from working so I would ask you to please try turning it on again and let us know if the issue persists.

@ihenetudan thank you for your response! How do I re-enable it? I’m still learning how to build and manage my website.
