Hi there,
WP Migrate Support Team here, Thanks for reaching out with your query we would be happy to assist
Our plugin is mainly a migration plugin which can migrate a site’s database and files to another location.
This means that our plugin will migrate your site A to site B and any URLs referencing the old site will be replaced by the new URL during the migration with the use of the Find and Replace tool of WP Migrate.
If you intend to use the site A URL on site B after migration, you’ll have to run another find and replace to replace all URLs to be the site A URL.
The site A domain will also need to point to your server B so that you can access your site B using the site A URL. We recommend reaching out to your hosting provider for assistance on this.
The following docs might help –

If you intend to use the site A URL on site B after migration, you’ll have to run another find and replace to replace all URLs to be the site A URL.
The site A domain will also need to point to your server B so that you can access your site B using the site A URL.
Thanks, I fully understand.
however, the site domain seems also related to Nigx settings, right?
On the migrate site B, only find and reply, re mapping domain to the server B will not work?
If yes, any suggestions to migrate the nginx setting from server A to server B ?
actually, this point is the only that confused me for this migrate case, and really expect and appreciated your guiding.
thanks

Hi @alexliii,
It looks like your query may be related to nginx settings. Unfortunately we are limited in the support we can provide for this as we don’t have the right expertise on this topic.
To ensure you are getting the best and most accurate support, I would highly recommend reaching out to your hosting provider’s support team.
Also, WP Migrate doesn’t migrate nginx settings; it can only migrate WordPress files and database.
Thanks, I know this plugin support WordPress migrating, and also support Find and Replace the URL.
Since I am not technical background, and I do not know if it is neccessary to migrate Nginx setting after migrating Nginx setting for this case, and I understand there is no simple method for this case.
Thanks anyway.
