Shipping Zones and Biling City

    I have two shipping zones, Zone 1 and Zone 2, each with a minimum order price requirement for availability. These zones correspond to specific cities, with Zone 1 being associated with City 1 and Zone 2 with City 2.

    Here’s the problem: I also have a “billing_city” selection in the checkout form, which offers the options of City 1 and City 2. I want to establish a connection between the “billing city” selection and the shipping zones. In other words, when a customer selects City 1 as their billing city, I want Zone 1 shipping to become available. Likewise, if they select City 2, I want Zone 2 shipping to open up.

    How can I achieve this?

    To achieve your goal, you can use WooCommerce’s built-in shipping zone functionality. Here’s how:

    1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping.
    2. Click on “Shipping Zones” and add Zone 1 and Zone 2, respectively.
    3. In the “Zone regions” field, add City 1 to Zone 1 and City 2 to Zone 2.
    4. Set up your shipping methods for each zone.

    Now, when a customer enters their billing address during checkout, WooCommerce will automatically match the city to the correct shipping zone. So if they select City 1 as their billing city, Zone 1 shipping options will be displayed, and if they select City 2, Zone 2 shipping options will be shown.

    Only country can be used in Zone regions i cant add city

    By default, WooCommerce only allows you to set up shipping zones based on countries and states, not cities. However, a workaround you can do is to use a plugin such as Shipping by City for WooCommerce, which will allow you to access city-based shipping zones.
