Grace gallery not working

I have been testing the Grace theme (which seems to have disappeared from WordPress and the internet over the past day or two), and I have it nearly working. I cannot figure out why the rotating gallery on the homepage isn’t working. In IE, it seems to load all the of the pics really fast… milliseconds maybe. Does anyone have any ideas? I have the theme set up per the author’s directions: Created a HomePage page and Gallery page, change the Reading settings, can created a Featured category and assigned pics to it.
