    $this->_conn->setOption( \Memcached::OPT_COMPRESSION, false );

    as far as IKNOW , the plugin doesn’t set Memcached to use compression mode

    what if you do a text search over all plugins and themes for keyword “OPT_COMPRESSION” ?
