I get replies all the time from the ninja form users, that should be sent to email notification address. They are sent to worpdress admin email (= my email) instead.

I set email notification to my client’s email address, and “reply-to” as {field:your_email_12345…whatever}.

    To sum up:
1 – First send from the form – ok, my client (website owner) gets notification emails.
2 – client replies to that user – ok
3 – user replies to that reply – now those emails arrive to me (wordpress admin) all the time, not to the client??

Apparently behind client’s name in the email header is my email address (wordpress admin)

Now I get tons of email replies which I shouldn’t and have to forward each one to my client. How to fix this, it’s very frustrating?

    Best regards.

    Hello!

I completely understand the frustration you’re experiencing with these email reply issues. It can be quite frustrating to receive replies that should go to your client instead.

    Let’s try to resolve this:

    1. First, ensure that in your email notification settings, the “Reply-To” field is correctly set to {field:your_email_12345} or the field where users enter their email addresses. Keep in mind,

      https://ninjaforms.com/docs/email/
MANY HOSTS WILL NOT ALLOW ANYTHING OTHER THAN YOUR DOMAIN ADMINISTRATIVE EMAIL HERE.  Using any other email address here greatly increases the chances that your email will appear in someone’s spam folder if your host even allows it to send at all.
    2. Make sure that the “To” field in the email notification settings is set to your client’s email address. This is where the notifications should be sent initially.
    3. Also, set the “From” field to your client’s email address so that replies go directly to them.
    4. Double-check your email template for any custom coding or variables that might be interfering with the “Reply-To” functionality.
    5. Once you’ve made these adjustments, save your form settings.

If you’re still experiencing issues after these steps, it’s possible that there could be an email server or plugin conflict. In such cases, contacting our Customer Success team for more personalized troubleshooting assistance is a great next step. They’re here to help you get this sorted out smoothly.
