• I have my blog setup in my local machine and on a live web host (self-hosted). Both blogs have same plug-ins installed and same setting/configuration. Simply put, both local and live sites are 100% identical (even in content).

Then I have added some new posts to the blog in my local machine, and instead of adding the new posts again to the live blog, I synchronized the local and live MySQL databases. (I have adjusted the server/domain dependent settings in the DB manually)
Now both blogs again look and work alike.

    My questions are:

    1. When I update (synchronize) the blog DB like this, does the functiona like trackback/pingback and RSS feeds get updated correctly?

    2. If my blog is integrated into blog syndicators will they be updated with my new posts?

    3. If we can use this method to update the blog, can we have remove the wp-admin folder from the live blog for added security?
