Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us.
After testing the site on several device/browser combinations, we found the issue seems to be on certain browsers on Android, specifically Chrome and Edge. It’s playing correctly on Android/Firefox as well as iOS/Chrome and Safari.
The autoplay feature you have enabled on the video may be the cause, as we noticed the video is present on these browsers: the issue is that they’re not playing. Some mobile browsers have settings that may prevent autoplaying videos for data-saving or privacy reasons. Users can manually enable autoplay in their browser settings.
If the autoplay feature is not the issue, following are other troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Ensure that the MP4 video you’re using is encoded with H.264 codec, which is widely supported across various devices and browsers.
- Check the resolution and size of the video. Very large videos may not play on certain mobile devices due to resource constraints. Consider optimizing the video for web playback.
- If you have other plugins or custom scripts running on your website, they might conflict with video playback. Temporarily deactivate plugins or scripts to see if they’re causing the issue.
Hope this helps!
Kind Regards.
