    Hello,

Could you please kindly let me know how I can prevent WordPress/My theme NOT to try to display any of the images sizes I have successfully unregistered ?

As an example, now that I have successfully removed the new products images attachment additional image sizes features , new products images displayed are the original JPG files ones.
BUT when I look at the past products images attachment and i try to delete some undesirable pictures sizes files and keep only the original, my website will not load anything. I assume it is because my website has still the instruction somewhere to load only the images sizes that were registered at the time on my website.

Is it in the database? How can I please kindly instruct my website to load only the original images files for the past posted products ? so that I can safely delete all the unwanted past theme-generated images sizes from my FTP and decrease drastically my website size..

    Thanks a lot !

    Hi bean1912,

I think this is more of a general question for WordPress than anything specific to our plugin. Our plugin can’t recognize images that are in use or not (resizes or no). You could try something like Jordy Meow’s Media Cleaner which can help get rid of unused resizes. Or, you could use EWWW’s options in the Resize tab to select which resizes you want (or don’t want) created, then use something like our Force Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to regenerate the thumbnails on all of those images. It will delete all of the thumbnails and only create the ones you want. That may be an easier solution for you.

I’m going to resolve this thread however if you have further questions, please feel free to start a new one.
