I am using the datepicker in my registration form. Regarding the law it is only allowed for people above 18 years to register in my page.

So I decided to use as the enddate “Today” with an offset of -18 years. Which means that the earliest date a user can pick is always today minus 18 years.

It is not possible to choose years >= 1 year back for the enddate.

Is there any solution for that?

    Hi @kadrikabbani

I hope you are doing well.

Let me check if we are on the same page,

You configured the date on the following limit:

    https://monosnap.com/file/ItKehHgj89BkAkAtBd3a1ppXrylpPf

But I may be missing something on

“It is not possible to choose years >= 1 year back for the enddate.”

Because I could only select the 09 Sept 2005 I also submitted the form using an older year 199X and it worked well.

Could you export your form https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export and share using pastebin so we can verify the current settings.

    Best Regards

    Hi @wpmudevsupport12

First of all, thank you for your quick answer and your effort to find out what the issue is.

From your screenshot I have found out what the bug is. If you put a start date you will not be able to put an end date offset greater than 1 year from today. It will be not possible to save the form. This is also the reason why I could not export the form, as it would not make any sense, as I cannot save it like that.

If you put the start date on “no limit” (as you did in the screenshot), only then you will be able to set the offset of the enddate on more than one year.

I do not need a limit for the startdate, so I am fine now and it worked. But for people who need a limit for the startdate and enddate this will be very frustrating.

I hope it will help you to fix the bug.

    Hi @kadrikabbani

    Thank you for your response!

I’m still not quite sure how to replicate this. I just tried setting both start and end dates into the past and it also worked fine:

    https://app.screencast.com/xJYHMLLrDUwyH

That is, for as long as the “start” date is “older” than the “end” date.

I’m sure I’m just missing something so perhaps you could provide similar screenshot with the settings that are not working on your end? It could help us replicate this.

    Best regards,
    Adam
