Hi everyone, i’m trying to set a product which have two type of Attributes (Color and Size), and i would like to set a custom image for every variation.

So i setup a custom image for this variations:

    Yellow
    Red
    Small
    Big

    then Yellow&Small, Yellow&Big etc etc.

The problem is that i’m no more allowed to see my simple Yellow color image, i need to click mandatory on Yellow and eventually one size attributes to see the image.

Is it possible to create a variation Yellow that can i click directly to show the yellow image?

    Thx for any help

I’m trying to set a product which have two type of Attributes (Color and Size), and i would like to set a custom image for every variation.

From what I understand, you’re working on setting up a product with two types of Attributes, Color, and Size, and you’d like to assign a custom image for each variation. You’ve already set up custom images for variations like Yellow, Red, Small, Big, ‘Yellow and Small’, ‘Yellow and Big’, and so on.

However, you’re facing an issue where you can’t see the simple Yellow color image directly. You need to select both Yellow and a size attribute to view the image. You’re seeking a way to create a Yellow variation that allows you to directly click and view the yellow image.

You’re experiencing this because, in WooCommerce, the image for a specific variation (for instance, ‘Yellow & Small’) only appears when all attributes for that variation are selected. That’s why you need to select a size to see the ‘Yellow’ image.

But don’t worry, there’s a solution. By using a plugin called ‘Variation Swatches and Photos‘, you can display colors and photos as alternatives to dropdowns for variable product variations. This enables you to directly click on the ‘Yellow‘ attribute and view its image without selecting a size attribute.
