    Hi there,

Now, If a client made a purchase through my website, an confirmation email is sent to him via woo-commerce plugin to confirm the order. This email is sent from an email address that is something@…..main-hosting.eu

My question is can I make this confirmation email sent from my own website administration email?

  • Hey there!

To change the default “From” address when sending emails through WooCommerce, follow these steps:

    1. Go to your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Click on WooCommerce and then Settings.
    3. Click on the Emails tab.
    4. Scroll down to the Email sender options section.
    5. Under the From address option, enter the email address you want to use as the default “From” address.
    6. Click Save changes.

@xristos3490 This setting is already set to my business email and in spite of that my customers receive emails from the unknown address.

    Thanks for the followup @mohamedbayomi!

It appears that the problem cannot be resolved through WooCommerce. If you are trying to use an email address on WordPress that is not included in your hosting package (such as Gmail or a custom domain-based one), you may need to adjust the email settings within WordPress.

You can try using plugins such as Easy WP SMTP or WP Mail SMTP to assist with this. If you are unsure, it is recommended to seek guidance from your email service provider or host.

    Hope this helps!
