Elementor seems to have issue with Flatsome Theme?

    Hi

    Client site is having issues with Elementor and Flatsome Theme. Apparently they are supposed to be compatible. But I notice some other people are having SAME issues as my client site.

    Please refer to SAME issue as this ticket on here but I couldn’t see the resolution …

    Basically the HOME Page was originally designed in the Flatsome Theme UX Builder .
    Someone has installed Elementor (not me – an SEO person) and then must have slightly edited the Home Page with Elementor.

    Now I cannot go into UX Builder at all UNLESS I deactivate Elementor (only HOME PAGE is affected).

    But I cannot keep the Elementor deactivated as there is 1 page in particular ONLY (Gallery) that needs Elementor so I can’t keep it deactivated.

    If I deactivate Elementor I can EDIT the Home Page with UX Builder, BUT the changes I make, don’t get reflected on the live site once Elementor activated again.
    If I activate Elementor then I cannot EDIT the Home Page with UX Builder.
    It’s like Elementor overwrites the Home Page which I don’t want …`

    It only happens on the Home page … as it was originally created in UX Builder, then edited by someone in Elementor. After that edit from within Elementor, it’s like it overrides as the MAIN PAGE builder for this Home Page.

    If a page is newly created with Elementor, then no issues.
    Without deactivating Elementor, HOW can I STOP Elementor being used as default on the Home Page ?
    Any suggestions please on HOW to fix this issue ?

    Yes both these plugins are 3rd party, and I need some help if someone has some ideas please on HOW to fix this. All websites have 3rd party plugins, but apparently Elementor says it is compatible with Flatsome Theme but it doesn’t seem to be.

    I am only needing Elementor working on 1 page only for a gallery but it won’t view properly.

    It is difficult if both plugin parties blame the other and then we who are looking after the websites, get no support.

    So I’m hoping someone here can offer some advice or guidance as to what could be causing the issue ?

    Has anyone else had issues ?

    Has anyone else had success in having BOTh plugins working together.?

    Hey there,

    I’m in the process of building a site using Flatsome and using Elementor for the shortcode widget.

    My work around has been building the page in Flatsome UX Builder then copying the HTML from that page > create a new Elementor page, add a HTML section in a column and paste the HTML code from your Flatsome page into that.

    If your Elementor Gallery is in the middle of the page, you’ll need to break the HTML code into two columns and put the gallery between the two HTML columns.
