    Hi there,

I use Updraft on several WP installations and save all my sites to my dropbox. Usually I keep 5 backups (+ the ones locked for only manual delete) for each website. In my WP dashboard > UpdraftPlus Backups > I can see these backups and restore them if needed. So far so good.

    Now, this is my issue:
After the restoration of the website on https://itga.at ALL EXISTING BACKUPS – of other websites with different URLs as well – are shown in the list of backups in this installation, e.g. on this particular website are 101 backups listed. I cannot tell which backup was made from which website as the backup-overview doesn’t show the URL of each backup (maybe you can implement that feature one day). But for now I’d like to know how I can manage that only the relevant backups for this particular website URL are shown?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

You need to store the backup of each site in its own folder. UpdraftPlus uses that feature for migration/restorion purposes. I’m afraid though that you will be need the premium version to be able to create a sub-folder for each site.

    Thanks,
    Bryle

Since this is new, and really makes the free plugin very much more cumbersome to use, it looks to me like a deliberate attempt to push people into using the paid version. It might also push people into looking at alternatives.

I am experiencing this issue as well. He does not mean all the backups are in the same folder in dropbox, he means that the backups are shown in the updraft plus interface after a restoration. Usually it lists the last few, now my existing backups section is showing 250 backups. How do you rescan so that the correct backups are associated. Rescan remote storage did nothing. I fear clicking the delete button.

How is this issue marked as resolved? It definitely isn’t, as the problem persists.

Listing other clients’ backups under one client’s files is a HUGE security risk. Whomever gets access (this website client, or maliciously) to this list will have the database info for all clients backed up under the Google Drive Updraft folder. PLEASE fix this – forcing people to upgrade in order to remove this blatant bug/security threat is unacceptable.

Same issue here… Any update on this?

Actually this thread shows how to fix

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/backups-from-different-websites-show-up-on-wrong-site/

Basically, you just select all the ones you want to delete, but make sure to unclick the ‘remove from external storage’
