Using code

Dear POST SMTP plugin users,

My website is using the Post SMTP plugin and everything is working fine. Really like the plugin. Right now I’m adding some PHP code where I also want to send a user a mail from.

I was wondering what I should use to mail customers from within the code while still relying on POST SMTP plugin. Is there a way, I suppose wp_mail() doesn’t work for this or does the plugin overwrite that?
