See the title ^. Let’s say I use another image optimizer and want to install this plugin. How would that work?

    Thank you

Sure, you can switch to using this plugin. The only issue would be potentially re-optimizing already optimized images. So, if your previous plugin compressed the images, there isn’t anyway for EWWW to know that they are already compressed and if you run a bulk optimizer, it will try to optimize them again, potentially lowering the quality (overcompression). However, if you just don’t run the bulk optimization from our plugin, it will optimize everything new that you upload and won’t touch your existing images.

To avoid double compression, you can also exclude paths from optimization with the plugin. So you could exclude images that have already been optimized by the old plugin.

Thank you — that makes sense.
