Found it. There’s an issue when a “classic editor” post is edited with the block editor. I cleaned it up.

Was that (general) issue fixed when editing a review?
Nope, not as far as I’ve seen. It’s probably on the “eventually” list.

Ok, thanks. Note that this bug has been there for a long time (at least 4 months).
It’s ridicolous that it’s not solved yet…it’s such an important thing…sometimes I want to change a review but it’s not possible cause it creates crazy text/code.

@initsolutions And it has been so for more than a year now.

As frustrating as it may be, what you both need to bear in mind is that problems don’t solve themselves: it takes someone to do the work.
And in case you’re not aware, as WordPress is a 100% free and open-source project, every work in WordPress — be it coding, support, documentation, marketing, etc — is done by volunteers.
And as there are a million other “important” things to do/fix and few volunteers to do the work, it should come as no surprise that… sometimes… it takes a while to see desired changes come to life.

@gappiah We DO know all that. But isn’t Reviews Important? Shouldn’t that be a high priority? Isn’t 1+ year enough time?
