Hi, I’ve noticed over the last month+ or so that when/if Redis stops on the server, it then throws a critical error on the site. I’ve been using the plugin for 2+ years and previously if Redis stopped, the site may slow down but there was no critical error and the site was still reachable.

I’m curious if there is a setting or a a new wp-config addition that can be added so if Redis is not running, the site doesn’t take a nose dive. Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Yes, we added that in a recent release, because if Redis and MySQL go out of sync, you’ll loose data. So it’s either dataloss or seeing an error if Redis Server is unable.

I’d suggest monitoring Redis to see if it needs more memory or connections.
