    Hello,

We have a serious problem with our system and I can’t figure it out. It is a WooCommerce site with 1621 users (7 admins). Up until Friday it was working great, all the users are in, admins were able to place orders for clients, etc.

This morning, we are unable to find 85% of our users. On the Users list there are 1631 users. But only 361 can be displayed.

We have not made any changes to the site, all plugins are up to date. Need help. What can I do to fix this???

    Thank you!

    Hi @alortiz3

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re experiencing with your user list. I understand how crucial this is for your operations and I’m here to assist you.

Given that you haven’t made any changes to your site and all plugins are up-to-date, there are a few possibilities that could be causing this issue.

    • Database Issues: It’s possible that there might be an issue with your WordPress database. You could try repairing your database to see if that resolves the issue. This can be done by adding the following line to your wp-config.php file: define('WP_ALLOW_REPAIR', true); After adding this line, you can navigate to www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/maint/repair.php and click on “Repair Database”. Remember to remove the line from your wp-config.php file once you’re done. If you are uncomfortable editing code, you can also use a plugin called Simple Database Repair.
    • User Role Issues: There might be an issue with user roles. Check if the missing users have been assigned a different user role. If they have, you can use a plugin like User Role Editor to change their roles back to the correct ones.
    • Plugin Conflicts: Even though all your plugins are up-to-date, there might be a conflict between them. To check this, you could temporarily deactivate all your plugins except WooCommerce and see if the issue persists. If it’s resolved, reactivate your plugins one by one to identify which one is causing the conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation of conducting a conflict test here.
    • Theme Conflicts: Similarly, the issue might be caused by your theme. You can test this by temporarily switching to the default Storefront theme and see if the issue is resolved.

If none of these solutions works, it would be best to create a backup of your site and then contact a professional developer or your hosting provider. They should be able to investigate your database directly and further investigate the issue.

Remember to always have a current backup before making any changes to your site.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions or if the issue persists.

    Thanks!
